5000 kilos of victoria plums

my kindly neighbour has just given me an enormous quantity of lovely sweet victoria plums from his tree.
I don't want to do jam or chutney, so please anyone, any ideas what I could do with them all? (other than 2000 plum crumbles - and sell them to Mr Kipling)

freeze them halved and stoned sprinkled with sugar - then use them for crumble

Waitrose currently have a recipe card for a delicious cake with plums in -won't use up many though unless you make a cake the size of a football field

I like the cut of your jib Mrs Wong.
I will freeze some of them, although DD is making a good start - my little fruitbat has eaten loads already.

PLum fool - dead easy

2lb plums
10 oz gk yoghurt - can use half fat
5 oz or so caster sugar

stone plums, sprinkle with sugar if needed, bake in oven Gas 4 about 20 mins til tender. drain off excess liquid - reserve this.

puree fruit, add some of reserved liquid if needed - should be a thick puree - allow to go cold

put yog in lg bowl, stir to loosen then stir in puree. put in serving dishes, cover with cling and chill until ready to serve. Nice with shortbread.
