Just what is the point of kumquats?

But really, what is the point of them?

Nope. Kumquats are pointless. As are starfruit.

Jam. Or infusing in vodka. And they have a cute name!

Nothing is pointless that can go in a cocktail.

Ladies I salute you. I will fashion a snow and kumquat margherita (a snogheriquat I think) just as soon as we get another snow day on Tuesday (I live on the east coast of the US and we're living The Day After Tomorrow this winter).

Ha ha like it, I'd get that name patented pretty quick if I were you!
