Typical have 8 for dinner on Saturday, am doing fondue and one of them is allergic to cows milk/cheese. I have 2 fondue things so thought I would do one with sheep (eg pecorino etc) or goat.

Any ideas?

I've lost my fondue book Countess.... can't help! Can you maybe do a meat one (fondue bourguignonne)? with lots of dipping sauces?

My fondue book doesn't list one I'm afraid but an alternative is a fish fondue. You use a vegetable or fish bouillon at simmer and put pieces of raw fish (salmon, prawns etc) on the fork and leave until cooked. Use sauces such as seafood cocktail and tartare as dips.

pupuce that sounds fantastic - thanks!

I think I've been to that restaurant - certainly been to Glen Ellen. What a coincidence.
