M&S dine in tonight

So who else is having this and what you having?
We have Thai fish cakes (will do on grilled spiced courgettes), rack of lamb with rosties and veg and finally triple choc pudding. It probably does not 'match' but sounds yummy to me!! Now to get dd to bed and get that stove on!

I am, though I sent DH to buy it.
He got:

The baked Camembert second choice for me, I'd have got the Coquilles St Jacques
The chicken would have been my last choice
Veg I hate carrots
Chocolate hearts
Sauvignon Blanche I would have got Cava

I got a Sainsburys one, only £10.

Dh is vegi so no choice on main course. Got mushroom risotto. Wine is nice. Got lemon pudding to go with it.

Totally gutted to discover the heart chocolates have hazlenuts in! I'm allergic (but not badly) and dudnt think to check when they were just billed as chocolates, not pralines

The Dine In stuff was completely sold out in my one, so I raided the yellow stickered discounted items and added a full price one. Menu is now:
scallops and chorizo
sirloin steak (full price) with chips and posh green beans/other veg combo
vanilla cheesecake slices
wine from existing stocks

You are all cunts. I trekked 20 mins by foot in the rain to get it today and there was nothing left

Camembert,steak for dh..he gets double as I'm veggie,chunky chips,salted caramel cheesecake.Drank the cava last night.Might get Waitrose one tomorrow !

Shelves were fully stocked at 9am this morning - had planned to pick up before school run yesterday but the shelves were bare.

Oh sorry thejumped.

We've just had ours. verditct - Coquilles - lovely, beef wellington - ok but a bit well done even though I cooked it for the right amount of time, strawberries - yum, pink cava - yum, chocolates - DS and his pal declared them yum.

Just had the mains so far, fish cake thing a squidgy let down but the lamb was lovely and the wine is going down v well. too well there's not any left
Desert on sofa in front of corrie don't say there's no romance in my house!

Parma Ham , Steak and Chips , Chocolate heart dessert things. Yum.

Loads in my M & S this afternoon, it was delicious, rump steak in pepper sauce and Profiteroles (sp). No beef wellington left, but the rump steak was as nice as the stuff I bought in French supermarkets in the summer

Did no one else have the duck a la orange ? Twas very yummy. Really enjoyed the thai fishcakes. ..just like local thai restaurant. Have the choc heart desert for later and half way through the pink cava..yum

We've just had our (very mismatched) meal. Anti pasti starter, duck alorange main with chips and garlic mushroom (extra) starter with the heart shaped desserts. Red wine. The chocolates were scoffed yesterday.

Mmmmmmmmmmmm that chocolate heart thing was amazing It was worth £20 alone

I had planned in having this, but could only get to M&S on Monday this week. This deal was not going to delivered until Tuesday.

Instead I bought lamb shanks, dauphinoise potatoes and some flaky pastry apple desserts with cream. We have wine in already.

I hope it's good - the pinger is about to ping on the oven!

So much for my Chinese banquet.. Had a power cut from 6:30pm-2am so valentines dinner was prawn crackers, cheese sarnies, mini trifles & profiteroles and lots of wine. But it was all next to a roaring fire and candles so still lovely. Just hope the M&S stuff is still ok to eat considering the fridge has been off for so long..

I went and bought our M&S deal on Tuesday because I know how quickly it disappears.

We got thai fishcakes which I'm saving for another meal, we can never eat three courses, beef Wellington which tasted too much of pate for me but H liked it so he had mine too, Gastro chips, a red wine jus thing that H made which was lovely, green beans and salted caramel dessert.

Oh and the Cava was delicious. Def worth the money but wish i had got the steak instead of beef.

On the same day I bought the 3 meat/fish for £10 deal and got a whole chicken, chicken breasts and mince which i thought was excellent.

Off thread but we buy nearly everything from Aldi and M&S now, we can afford the luxury top ups as Aldi is so cheap.

I had the salmon, crab and lobster starter. - bloody delicious.
Mushroom risotto (all the other options were too 'meaty') - nice but not exciting
Salted caramel profiteroles. - sex on a plate.

Haven't opened the fizzy pink yet, going to share it with my friend tonight!
