I'm making New Year's Day dinner on Wednesday and it's cream of wild mushroom soup as a starter so it'll have cream in it obviously and sherry... I'm working tomorrow so would like to make it tonight so 2 days in advance and keep in the fridge.. Would this be ok? I've never made a creamy soup in advance.. It wouldn't separate or anything would it?
Also, Creme Patissiere for my summer fruit tartlets for dessert - would this be ok 2 days in advance too? I've made it one day in advance before..
