...for their market share
...for getting stuf through planning
...for helping small shops go under etc

HOWEVER

I find their new policy of creating food out of ingredients rather than chemicals rather nice

It is so much nicer to see things we could create at home in the kitchen rather than use a chemistry set

OK so it's still processed (& maybe has a lot of salt) - but at least you can recognise the stuff on the label

good point

i nearly died the other day when (on a VERY rare occasion i was popping in for a ready meal)

(note ONLY for me... would NEVER feed one to my charges.... anyway they were quite low on stock...

i saw a tuna pasta value one and all the ingrediants were 'normal' ones (as usual i check every ingrediant!) that even I approve of (which is rare... im a fruit shoot / petit filoux / ready meal / any processed / reconsituted crap loather.... more and organic whole grain locally produced fairly traded ethically produced environmentally friendly girl) so due to extream lack of selection i purchased it and it tasted ok and id even buy one again for emergancies

(though i do still stand by the fact that my home made version IS alot nicer )

that is an EXTREAMLY high compliment from me
