100g butter melted
250g self raising flour
140g caster sugar
50g cocoa powder
1tsp baking powder
zest n juice of 1 orange
3 eggs
150ml milk
100g orange chocolate broke into chunks (I used a Terrys chocolate one)
for the sauce
200g light muscavado sugar
25g cocoa powder
butter ur slow cooker pot
put flour, caster sugar, cocoa, baking powder, orange zest in a bowl.
in a jug whisk the orange juice, eggs, melted butter and milk then pour on the dry ingredients and mix until smooth
stir in chocolate chunks and then add the mixture to our slow cooker pot
mix 1/2 pint of boiling water with the muscavado sugar and cocoa then poor this over the batter.
cook on high for 3 hours on high.
mine is a 3.5l and was cooked in this time. it rose a fair bit n the gooey chocolate sauce was all underneath. so if you turned it out of the pot it would all be on the top
serve with cream or ice cream
