Hi all, running out of ideas for dinners in this heat. No-one wants to eat much anyway, and ds never eats much when it's something with salad!

What can you make that involves little use of the hob and no use of the oven? We have a microwave but I only use it for cooking veg and custard!

Sandwiches, salad and pizza have been on the menu in the last week. Did fajitas last night, but ds(3) didn't like and ended up with a cheese sandwich afterall!

Just thought of omlettes, haven't had them for a while. Will also do the 'something' on toast idea. Thanks.

Keep them coming!

I'm making home-made burgers for the children - 5 minutes in a frying pan and they're done!

These are all great ideas. Thanks everyone! Now feel I can cook (or not!) for another week in this heat!
