Too much flour in gravy.....can it be saved?

2 1/2 bloody hours spent on Jamie Oliver's gravy and all I can taste is flour!

I obviously didn't fry it off for long enough. But is there anything I can do now to save it?

Add more stock and more wine... Simmer for another 20 mins or so, salt and pepper. See how it tastes. I think you should be ok... Just cook for longer.

Add some more water or stock (or wine!) and cook it for a bit longer.

Brilliant, thank you. Have just done that but didn't even think if adding extra seasoning too.

Fingers crossed dh won't actually twig that it's bistro best if it fails
