Can anyone identofy this food . track down this recipe

had it at playgroup party the other day

sort of like a quiche but loads deeper - sort of cake tin but deeper depth

had in tuna, other veg, rice ????? but did not have the eggy quiche consistency but did have pasty flan type base thing

It sounds like a Slimming World recipe someone made for me once.

Although it wasn't that deep I don't think.

There is a Nigella recipe (in Domestic Goddess)for a fantastic pie with spicy rice in it - it's made in a deep cake tin and the pastry is filo. Is that it? But that has pastry over the top, too.

no pastry over the top and definitely shortcrust type pastry fro the flan base....

Sounds like Koulibiac to me which is a russian salmon and rice pie thingy.
