What are yours?

My nan (god rest her soul) used to cook marrow with the Sunday roast every week and it was boiled for at least 3 hours. Delicious Confused have never touched it since. I'm sure it's not even that offensive but I just can't. Sad

My gran used to cook an awesome goat kurma, and all us kids would fight over who got to suck the bone marrow out of the leg! Now I think about it that's really disgusting! But it is very delicious though!

I used to love bone marrow too, our kids today don't know they're born Wink

Mine are typical sixties/seventies... The Processed Years. Oh, the thrill of opening a tin of Campbell's Meatballs or being given a dish of Angel Delight. Pasta being ever so slightly exotic and also out of tin. Meat paste sandwiches at the beach (and my DM could make one pot of Shippams do a whole loaf...) Sliced Chopped Ham and Pork (complete with jelly) as an exciting salad ingredient... come to that, Salad Cream as an exciting salad ingredient. And the lurid confectionery.... Space Dust, red bootlaces, Fruit Salads, Sherbet dib-dabs, Arrow Bars, Monster Munch ... we must have had E-numbers running through our DNA.
