  • on a horizontal surface (so doesn't need to be araldite)

I have heard:

royal icing (but I wasn't going to make any otherwise, and what do you do with the rest of the whole egg-white's-worth?)

  • butter icing (I suppose you can make tiny bits of this, so yeah but does butter icing not go off and will the whole thing then not keep so long?)
  • glue made of fondant dissolved in a drop or two of water
  • some other clear icing gel thing, I haven't heard of it, do you buy it?

which is best?

Do you use a cocktail stick or something to do this?

thank you!

I,d try the glue and a fine artist brush. Good luck!

edible glue, you can get from amazon at around £2.00 or cheaper and so easy to use with a brush.

I just stuff them in the fondant, no sticking.

Just water on a fine paintbrush. Or some icing sugar in water to a very thin paste.
