They'll be fine won't they? They look totally normal too.

I usually use the sniff test but am pregnant and also worry more as feeding a toddler. I usually go ahead, spend all night afterwards feeling anxious that I'm going to get ill, and then am totally fine.

If they smell ok then I'd use them.

I've just used a packet chilli mix that expired Oct 2012!

yy, if they smell fine they are fine. Your pregnant nose is extra sensitive so really no need at all to worry!

Btw packet chilli mix - what could possible be in that that would ever expire?! Spices go stale but surely not in a foil packet?!
