It's for 3 year olds and I have all the usual stuff listed, but fancy being a bit more exciting!

jelly boats always go down really well at dd parties.

Oranges cutin half scooped out and then filled with jelly. When they are set cut in half again with serated knife and add a rice paper sail on a cocktail stick.

Obviously common sense needed when you have 3 year old and cocktail sticks.

DD friends always eat more sandwiches when they are cut into shapes.

Watermelon ALWAYS is eaten at parties in this family

Cut it up into small chunks with the skin still on and they eat with fingers

It is without pips for about £3

My dd1 ( almost 4) is having a party in a few weeks - only small but I am making little picnic baskets for each of them.( outdoors at a park)

Sandwiches
mini quiche
jelly oranges ( as per Tsap's recipe)
mini muffin each
little pack of rice cakes/savoury biscuits
piece of fruit

Then birthday cake to take away and a small pack of sweeties in the gift bag.

fairy bread - aussie staple
mini hotdogs - cheerios/saveloys cooked, wrapped in a slice of bread and held with a toothpick - bake so the bread is crunchy
