Left over roast beef can I reheat it in gravy??

Haven't got any veg left over for stew. Was thinking of reheating in gravy on the stove and serving with mash and green beans. Is this the best way to reheat it???

Sounds good to me, it will need a while to simmer and actually heat through the meat though.

That's fine. I slice it up first - it often tastes better than the roast from the day before!

If you are making mash then I'd whiz the mince in the food processor and add some gravy and maybe carrots/onions to make a traditional cottage pie

Yes you can.

I do, I tend to re heat slices in gravy, in the oven for at least 30 minutes and piping hot.

Omg you were right tasted absolutely yummy. I sliced it and simmered it in a pan of gravy and transferred it into a casserole dish into the oven. It was so tender and just melted. Have more beef left over so cottage pie tommorrow :-)
