I have a similar problem when putting on mascara. I find that my mouth just HAS to be open in a funny stretched way! Dh used to laugh at me!

suzywong · 16/02/2004 22:44

Chinchilla
Mr Kipling French Fancies alive and well in my corner shop
I though that was just me who remembered the yellow and white tasting different, and yes they are more granular.
I also remember someone doing an mint one and a toffee and mallow one

Chinchilla · 17/02/2004 18:07

Yup - I remember the toffee/mallow and mint ones. The choice of eggs now though is far superior! Love the Galaxy ones mmmmmmmmmmm

LadyCodworth · 17/02/2004 18:15

after the inside is empty there is the moment of fulfillment when you cram the emptied shell into your gob. It is too big really but that is half the fun

I went to school with someone who used to insist on eating them like a proper egg - used to cut the top off and eat the inside with a spoon!
Rellies keep buying them for the kids but they're much too little to eat them, so I scoff them instead .

LadyCodworth · 17/02/2004 18:41

shame

SoupDragon · 17/02/2004 18:43

Oh, I have to cram the entire empty shell in too

Has anyone tried the macdonalds creme egg mcflurry. It's absolutely horrible. The icecream is vile and the choc egg tastes like plastic. It nearly put me off my creme egg addiction but thank god after a day, I as back on them.

Kayleigh · 17/02/2004 21:36

fimbles, you're so right. I don't like any of the mcflurrys. In my opinion you are spoiling good cholcolate by sticking it in ice cream. It's the same with a "99". The flake taste gets frozen. The only chocolate that should go near ice-cream is chocolate sauce. And plenty of it

creme eggs...... MMmmmmmm.

My teeth are tottaly messed up and so I'm trying to stay away from them, I love the mini ones!!! SP--you are abs right about the ratio
SM--maybe your eyes go funny cos of the rolling, squinting etc that get done when eating them (or is that just me)
BHair--I must confess, I used to eat creme eggs like that when I was younger.. The Shame

I too remember the fondant being different the yellow bit was abit oranger and tasted different.

champs · 19/02/2004 14:29

forgot to say---- I have eaten about two and 1/2 tubes already this year..... that was before I had to get a crown.... I still have nearly full tube in cubboard... any takers? I will post them to you, no cost to you... you will be helping me to save my teeth.

Northerner · 19/02/2004 15:06

How many calories in a creme egg?

suzywong · 19/02/2004 15:07

I really should by a box before my five replacement fillings next week

champs · 19/02/2004 18:38

lol suzy.... You may regret it when your at dentist.

nutcracker · 19/02/2004 18:43

Yuck, i hate them

fimbles · 22/02/2004 20:46

urrgh!, just had a mini creme egg, it was off. They were chilling in the fridge and when i bit into it the centre was dark runny yellow like a real egg. It also tasted fermented. I'll stick to the big ones i think now.

champs · 22/02/2004 23:13

that might be cos u put it in fridge!!!

choc shouldn't really be stored in fridge. (should be gobbled up straight away)

zippy539 · 22/02/2004 23:50

Spacemonkey - my eyes go funny when I eat a creme egg. Doesn't stop me eating them though. Maybe they've got some weird kind of eye altering additive in there. I think it only affects people of superior intelligence though...

spacemonkey · 23/02/2004 09:43

lol zippy, i agree

spacemonkey · 23/02/2004 09:45

my eyes also go funny when eating strong cheese. Is this normal?

champs · 24/02/2004 02:05

hee hee spacemonkey, are you sure it's not because of the tears in your eyes?!
