What can i do with them?

I've made Apple & plum chutney, Plum & raspberry jam, Spiced apple muffins and Crab apple chutney.

I am thinking of making up some apple pie/crumble base using this recipe and freezing it.

Any other ideas?

Apple butter
Very Appley mincemeat

Sorbets
Plum steamed pudding
Try drying them

It is not a very exviting suggestion but I stew the apple (just with enough sugar to make them taste nice) and freeze in small bags. These little bags gets are yummy over porridge in the morning and cool the porridge down pretty quick as well so it is edible when you arw in a rush!

As I said it is not very exciting but I LOVE apple porridge and takes so many apples to last the winter.

I made pickled apples last year, based on a recipe for lime pickle. They were amazing - though they need to mature in the jar for a good few months before eating. I also made apple jelly which I won't bother with again, though I will re-make a savoury jelly - boil the apples with chillie, reduce the sugar a bit, then add a sprig of rosemary to each jar. Good with cheese and meat.
