Probably been done before a squillion times but thought it might bear repeating as I'm sure I'm not the only one wracking my brains and hoping this might be an easy way to share ideas. Did consider posting in weaning but we're a bit past that stage so hence here.

In this house there has been (not including toast, snacks etc)....

Porridge with some nectarine chucked in it for interest
Cumin spiced cottage pie with winter veg mash
Courgette gratin/ bake thing with a cheesy, eggy, breadcrumby top

I eat what she eats so adult versions made baby friendly.

Ds is 15 months.

Today he had ...

Breakfast - toast and jam and then a banana
Lunch - jacket potato and cheese and beans, yoghurt, pinched bits of my Mr Kipling bakewell slices!
Dinner - aubergine, lentil, mushroom and tomato bake that I make in a big batch and freeze and then I do in the microwave and bung a bit of cheese on top.. it's his fave dinner! Then he had apple puree from a pouch.

He generally eats for England. He eats anything and everything. The only thing he won't touch anymore is milk! At all! So I offer lots of yoghurt, cheese and salmon etc to provide calcium.

Not a great day today for variety, but she has a cold that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it

Muesli with banana and yoghurt
Scrambled eggs, sweetcorn and fresh warm cheese bread and a plum
A snack pack of dates. The weirdo. She was hungry in the supermarket so I thought, sod it, lets see what she makes of these, and she adored them. I'm sure they are probably pure sugar though.
More of the cheese bread and sweetcorn Blush as she asked for it, peas, cauliflower, a mandarin.

Fruit heavy, I know, but rather fruit and yoghurt than cakes and chocolate and so far we're managing to keep away from cakes on a regular basis (not a psycho mum, just trying to put off the inevitable as long as possible!)
