old grilled aubergines - cook or chuck?

Last Sunday I barbecued aubergines to make baba ganoush. I forgot them and they've been sitting in the fridge ever since. I should just chuck them out, shouldn't I?

They do smell fine though, and baba ganoush is very yummy!

I'd use them if they smell OK, veg gets obviously mouldy before it would do you any harm. (I am very slack but have never poisoned anyone.) Taste them before you waste time and other ingredients on them though.

If already cooked, then sat around, I'd agree and say chuck.

Mind you I can't stand aubergines, so I'd say chuck anyway. :)
