Turning left over roasted veg into pasta sauce...

I have a bowl of left over roasted assorted veg from two nights ago - currently reasonably big chunks of patty pan, courgette, onion, beans etc etc. Really yummy and want to put it to good use and am thinking somehow to go with pasta and incorporate some left over shredded chicken from yesterday.

But how? Can't just lump it with the pasta, and I don't want to blend it because I want to keep identifiable veg. I have cream, cheese etc.

TIA.

Add to can of toms. Add chicken. Stir into cooked pasta?

Oh I forgot to say, already quite a few tomatoes in there, but it's a bit "sloppy" and the veg needs dicing smaller to go with pasta. Just wondered whether I could somehow give it a bit more "body" with something so it's not just watery slop.
