My chutney is far too salty - can I rescue it?

I'm making courgette and butternut squash chutney. The recipe said to salt the veg overnight which I did, but I couldn't get it to rinse off properly. I decided to give it a try anyway, and lo and behold the end result is a salty chutney!

It's such a shame as I can tell it would be really tasty without the saltiness. Is there something I can add or do to save it?

Can you re-boil it with a slot more liquid and chunks of raw potato? The potato should absorb the salt.

Slot = spot.
