Hi,

Am looking for suggestions for things to do out with the normal sausages, burgers and baked potatoes!

Any nice marinades? Salads? Puddings?

Thanks so much

Halloumi! Bbq'd halloumi is the nicest thing ever.

We often do kebabs / souvlaki - lamb or chicken and halloumi for veggies. Then a big Greek salad and / or some tabbouleh, some form of tzatziki and lots of pitta or flatbread. Always seems to go down really well.

Also found that if we are doing sausages then sweet potatoes wrapped in foil cook really well in the coals (serve with some sour cream / yoghurt) and chives and then sweet corn cobs.

I have to say though that for the kids hot dogs are rarely beaten!

Thanks for the suggestions! I LOVE halloumi!

Pitta and flatbreads will be a nice change too.

Any nice pasta or other salad recipes?

Thank you!
