I have smoked salmon and sour cream that need eating up - pasta dish?

What do you reckon? Plenty of black pepper? Wonder if it needs anything else to be palatable?

I do a pasta, smoked salmon and ordinary cream dish, reckon sour cream would be fine. I tend to str fry some sort of veg and stir that through too - mange tout, asparagus if I am feeling flush, carrots sliced diagonally and broccoli florets if not.

Dill goes well with salmon and sour cream (and pasta).

Handful of frozen peas for colour.

We have this quite regularly - I just put whatever green veg I have in (peas, spinach, green beans) if no asparagus available

Eh Fusspot66 if you buy smoke salmon trimmings it is actually quite a cheap dinner.

Lol at stealth boast. Was leftover from trying to impress guests with bagels, smoked salmon and cream cheese at the weekend. Sour cream leftover from burritos I planned to make and coudn't be bothered.
Wish I'd read this before cooking, would have been nice with peas or asparagus

Nah ! I was only joking. We had quiche and frozen veg. Boring but we're running down the freezer before a trip away. Woulda loved salmon!
