I'm doing a nice dinner for DPs parents and his grandad (plus us and our 22month old) next Tuesday or wednesday and could do with some suggestions.
Some requirements of the meal-
DPs mum is vegetarian
DPs dad hates anything spicy
And his grandad is quite conservative
Oh and I'm allergic to eggs
The toddler would prefer something with finger food involved.

I was thinking homemade pizza (one veg, one non veg) with garlic bread and a few nice salads/olives etc. Followed by a cheesecake or banoffee pie.
But is this too boring? I've considered curry but am running low on good veggie options.

Not boring at all!
Another option is tortilla wraps - build your own so you could have meat/spicy dishes separately, as well as grated cheese, guacamole, salsa, sour cream etc. you could do a chilli or just cooked veg for the main filling.

I think your idea is good, the salads are key IMO. Pizza on its own could be boring, but if you do a range of great salads / olives it becomes lovely. Nice and summery too.
