Freeze, defrost, cook, re-freeze?

Hi- quick question...
I took a delivery of lots of pieces of fish yesterday.
I've packed them all safely into the freezer.
If I now take them out, defrost and make into fish pies- could I safely refreeze them? (For home consumption only!!)

If the fish you put in the freezer was uncooked you'll be fine!

Yes, you can freeze from raw, and then from cooked. What you mustn't do is re-freeze in the same state. So you mustn't, e.g. make pie and freeze, defrost, not use it for some reason and re-freeze.
