Sooo... any recipes that call for a pint of warm semi-skimmed milk?

For the second time this week I've left the milk on in the 'cooler'
(ha!) on the doorstep until 4pm.

Rather than chuck it, is there anything I can make with it? Rice pud??

Rice pud would be good because you probably should boil the milk if it's been festering sitting on a warm doorstep all day. A quiche would use some of it, and/or proper custard.

Macaroni cheese or just a white/cheese sauce?

starfishmummy · 17/07/2013 16:16

A white/cheese sauce to use now or freeze

Scones or pancakes

Bread.

This could be the time to experiment with making yoghurt. You need a starter though. Hugh fear newly whittling stall has a good recipe, google F-W and the guardian and yoghurt to find recipe.

have a gorgeous recipe for bread pud but the oven would need to be on for 90 minutes, too hot for that?

Custard or ice cream.

Yoghurt is the one thing I wouldn't do with milk that's been sitting around - you might end up with a culture of something undesirable.(love that spelling of HFWs name Grin)
