Crusty bread, potatoes, green salad?

I feel it needs something but don't know what?!

Tomato and red onion or a roasted red pepper salad.

What else is going in the chickpea and feta salad? Radishes would look nice and they go well with feta.

Green salad definitely. How about some home made guacamole?

And what time are you dishing up? Grin

New potatoes with butter and mint. Maybe a beet root salad to add come colour? Would go well with chicken, feta and potatoes :)

Couscous with mint, lemon and chilli.

Thanks for ideas!

Chickpea salad has red onion, chillies, toms, mint and basil.

Lula- dinner is at 8pm if you can make it to Dorset!! Grin

Or roasted new potatoes with garlic and thyme.

OliviaMMumsnet · 12/07/2013 10:38

That sounds delish
I would drive to Dorset for it if I wasn't working tonight Grin

Could you roast some carrots with the chicken? Or roast them separately, dress with a little lemon juice, salt, pepper and cumin seeds.

Don't put the chickpeas in the salad, make a feta salad. Then take a plate and put salt, pepper, and a few of your favourite spices on it - I would use ground coriander, some bashed up fennel seeds, a little pinch of chillie, sumac if you have it. Wash the chickpeas and roll them in the spices, then fry them off in olive oil with a good squeeze of lemon. Soooooo tasty and will give you another hot texture dish IYSWIM.
