I need to present a plate of sweet finger food for a school parents event next week - cant be cake or something you have to slice. I d love some helpful suggestions please, no cupcakes, as they will be done to death I imagine! Thank You!

I would just go with berries tbh, no prep needed, easy, fresh assuming you might have good weather :) easy to eat and most people like them have no allergies to them

Tip would be to use an ice pack to keep them cool or pop them in the freezer for a little bit

Mini profiteroles.....use basic choux pastry recipe and just pipe really small blobs

Tartlets. Mini pastry cases from M&S, fill with mixture of marscapone cheese and icing sugar (to your own taste, just add some sugar and mix till it tastes nice) and top with half a strawberry or a couple of raspberries or similar. If you want to be fancy, melt some jam with extra water to glaze, but I don't bother. V easy and look impressive but not a particularly cheapo option, so it depends how much you like the people you're making them for.
