I've got a pack of fresh egg noodles that should have been eaten yesterday and we can't have them for dinner - can I stick them in a soup and freeze it? What else can I do with them?

Anyone made noodle cakes? I really don't want to throw them away but promised the kids roast chicken tonight.

I don't think I've ever bought fresh egg noodles but my guess is that they can be used LONG apst the sell by date. So go wild.
