Pampered Chef

Has anybody been to a Pampered Chef party? My friend is hosting one tomorrow evening and I don't know what it entails. Is there a cookery demonstration?

Also, just on party etiquette, would it be OK to attend but not buy? Obviously there may be something there that I cannot live without, but we really don't have oodles of money for me to splash out.
Thanks for any help!

The stoneware is expensive, and it does take a little getting used to, but it cooks fantastically, and only needs washing off under clean water - no soap required. It becomes non-stick after a while. I've got a muffin pan that will cook fat-free Yorkshire puddings that just lift out, then a gentle wash under the tap once the tray has cooled...

Fantastic.

Yes, the bamboo spoons are great - they don't taint or stain either.

The scraper I think you're refering to is the mix-and-scrape - does what it says, and nothing left to lick out!
