Tastes lovely too, with the cream that DH bought the other day for no reason.
I've done it in the past and had mixed results. Some lovely, some watery.
So I googled it and followed Mary Berry's bake-off recipe. (With the addition of a teaspoon of sugar and some dots of butter on top of the apples)
It worked brilliantly!
Def doing that recipe in future.
