Defrosted a large piece of pork in the microwave today - at 12.30pm. It took 1.5 hours on auto-defrost. That takes us to 2pm. I forgot about it.
At 4.30 I went to the microwave and the pork was about body temperature. So it had been sitting for 2.5 hours.
The plan is to slow-cook it (with garlic and fennel mmmmmm) BUT:
Is 2.5 hours long enough for toxins to form? Are we all going to be hideously sick??
