Baby curry recipe anyone? (or similar slightly spicry foods)

I usually cook for DS (9 months) but whilst out the other day he had a Heinz Mum's Own jar of vegetable curry which he loved. I'd love to get him used to spicer foods to broaden his palette (sp sorry!) but am not a great chef! whenever I make curry or similar for myself and DH it involves the use of a jar or packet (I can do chilli but am trying not to give DS too much red meat.)

So does anyone have a simple-ish recipe they could share? The fewer ingredients/preparation the better!

I find that Pataks do really good curry pastes without anything chemical in them. Try either their mild curry or korma paste. Fry some onions, add a little paste and fry a bit more. Add boiling water and vegetables. Serve with natural yoghurt mixed in.

chicken and Chorizo risotto
dice some chicken and chorizo, fry some onions, garlic, tad of ginger (you can get the Lazy jars of ginger and garlic)maybe a bit of pepper, mushrooms - whatever you fancy really toss in the chicken and chorizo, cook all together and add some cooked rice about 4 minutes towards the end whizz a bit if necessary and voila !

When DS was younger I phoned the number on the side of Organix products for the free recipe booklet -there used to be a Carrot and Butterbean Korma recipe in there which DS loved!

Mild and very tasty. Afraid I don't think I've got it now otherwise I'd post it but give them a ring.

See also \link{http://www.mumsnet.com/Talk?topicid=1379&threadid=152892&stamp=060311163002\this thread.} Organix also used to have a good mild veg curry recipe on their website

My ds loves chickpea and peach curry.
Bring can of coconut cream or milk to simmer, add curry to personal taste, cook further minute add chopped can of drained peaches, drained cooked chickpeas and diced apricots. Heat through. YUM
