Hi all, I'm hoping to make a rainbow cake for my DDs birthday and I'm not sure of the best colouring to use. My recipe suggests SK proffesional (which is way too expensive) or Dr Oetker - but I've read that the colours are a bit pale.
Does anyone have good recommendations that don't cost the earth and are readily available?
TIA

I have the sugarflair colours, which are brilliant and keep forever (mine are about 12 years old) I bought mine at a cake craft shop but they seem to be readily available on the internet.

Sugarflair are great. What ever colours you go for add more than what you think you will need to get the vibrant colours

I've used both Wilton and Sugarflair and have had good results with both. However, I have heard lots of people say they prefer Sugarflair.

Used Wilton for my rainbow cake and was fine and nice and bright.
