Show Stopping Dessert that can be easily transported by car and eaten cold?

need to make a dessert for 6 adults for Mother's day, needs to be relatively easy to make and easily transportable by car. There is no facility to heat anything up so must be ok cold.

Any ideas?

I don't have a particular recipe but what about a cheese cake?

This is AMAZING. Make in a springform tin and keep it in there for transporting, mine survived three and a bit hours down to Devon and was heaven on a plate...

Eton Mess, transport in a lidded plastic box, serve with a drizzle of liqueur and some pretty biscuits, home made if possible, or a pavlova assembled when you get to the venue, with Eton Mess as Plan B if it does not transport well.

Have transported both in a cake box.

I cannot bake to save my life but the only two things that I can bake well (no pun intended) are a cheesecake (recipe adapted from "I Can Cook") and a bakewell cake. These always turn out great and are as yummy hot as they are cold.

Transport the meringue base, the whipped cream, and the chopped fruit seperately, and asemble in situ.

I would recommend nigella's red raspberries in Chardonnay jelly. It can be made as a large one or individuals, and transports really well.

Oh my! That Bakewell cake is crying out to be made right now. I seem to remember I have some ground almonds that are begging to be used. :)

Miss woohoo I did make it at Christmas with ground rice instead of almonds and it wasn't as yummy. Very calorific but we always slice it in double the portions they say.
