Smoothies. Blend them with oranges, strawberries, and ice cream if you're not on a diet. Add ice, lovely.

Oooh, I know, you could stick some on cocktail sticks and freeze them, they really are nice, they're like ice cream but healthier when they're frozen.

Frozen Chocolate Banana Pops!
An easy treat the kids will love.
INGREDIENTS:

6 ripe bananas
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
PREPARATION:

Peel bananas; cut in half crosswise. Insert a wooden stick into flat end of each banana half. Lay bananas on a shallow pan or baking sheet; freeze for about 3 hours, until very firm. Melt chocolate chops over hot water. With a spatula, quickly spread melted chocolate over each banana, coating well. Chocolate will become firm right away. Wrap each banana in foil; store in freezer.

Or the trusty Banana cake, Banana Milkshake, Choc Bananas on BBQ (with skins ON make a slit, fill with choc, wrap in tin-foil & leave on BBQ until soft)

bramblina · 02/05/2006 21:56

Fry them in butter and add cinnamon.
Slice them down the side, shove in some chocolate or chomps and either barbecue them or pop them in the oven, wrapped in foil.
