Anyone else having an M&S dine in meal deal thingy tonight?

This is our first one and so far, I'm quite impressed with what you get for a tenner. In the oven at the mo, we have chicken and ham puff pastry parcel things and some Caesar style green veg to go with. Dessert is some profiteroles and we have a bottle of Merlot.

I hope it tastes as nice as it looks as it's a bargain. Anyone else having one tonight and if so, is it nice?!

We're having the pork medallions w cider sauce, have had the garlic mushrooms to start and will have the morello frangipane slice for pudding, all washed down w a nice white.

I love it - great value, esp when it's a chicken or steaks

Ooh, I really wanted the frangipane slice but DH hates cherries Sad

Were the garlic mushrooms nice?

We usually go for it, but the selection's a bit meh for us, this week. No apple pie, for a start!

That's interesting. We have no frame of reference as this is our first one, but there were quite a few things I fancied.

Anyway, we've had the parcels and the veg and both were very tasty. More filling than I'd expected, too.

The garlic mushrooms are fine but not garlicky enough!

The profiteroles were very nice. On the whole, I'm really rather impressed and would definitely try it again. Cheers Wine

I think they're great - especially for Friday nights when I just don't fancy cooking!

We had the salmon dauphinoise. It was lovely. Quite fancied the trout stuffed with crab too.

We had the tomato tart thing with rosemary potatoes and profiteroles for afters.
We buy it fairly frequently but usually end up with bits in the freezer and it being eaten over a number of weeks.
Dd2 had chicken bites and chips with a profiterole dessert to feel included.
