could i substitute it with sr flour? and add the extra tsp of flour instead of baking powder the recipe says?

just to save.me a trip to the shops because i cba and am enjoying the peace while dp does the nursery run Grin

i think it's an american recipe i'm giving a go, everythings in cups (luckily i have measuring spoons that have cups too)
