oh blibblibs we can swap!

My utility room has a lovely Belfast sink with odd taps that come out of the window sill...

Ooo, and a craft room. Actually, that's the only one I have a hope of getting, but the DC need to move out first and that could take a while as they are currently 3 and 1 GrinBlush

Sounds good Frank Grin

Oh good - I am not totally weird then Grin

It had not occured to me to want a boot room, but they sound quite good too. I would also like a playroom, an orchard, a kitchen garden with herbs and raspberries and a view of the sea.... sigh

I have a larder, boot room, utility, craft/ironing room and walk in airing cupboard and I seem to spend my whole time decluttering the bloody things. Be careful what you wish for.

Wouldn't care whats4teamum I would love all of those. I have a temporary larder and a large utility and small back hall for muddy stuff (rented), and I love them. A proper boot room, craft room and airing cupboard too would be my idea of heaven.

( we have a lot of stuff/hobbies)

Yes I would love one. I had a huge one in the town house I shared with DH. It was full height, about two doors wide. Not as big as Nigella's, but still marvelous. Miss it so much.

I also had a utility room. It fits a washer, dryer, sink unit, and a cupboard about the same size as the larder. I also miss that a lot.

We also had a walk in wardrobe. But it's just two hanging rack in between the master bedroom and the ensuite.

All this in a townhouse not meant for a family. It's a house for couples and singles. No family room, just a single living area with a lounge, a dining area and a galley kitchen off the dining area. But it's HUGE in british standards.

That's the house we had in NZ. I think I forgot to mention it! The lounge is so large we had a 3-2 sofa in the middle of the room. And behind the 2 seater was my upright piano.
