Berocca gives me a good boost.

And sushi always makes me feel 'clean' and healthy.

Japanese food on the whole is very good for you though.

Eating fish instead of chicken, pork, lamb and beef always gives me a boost too.

Thanks..sorry..what is Berocca?

Red meat in the form of a nice juicy steak. Coconut. Lovely colourful salad with avocado. Sardines.

Berocca is a soluble vitamin you put in water. HAs the effects of a red bull but with no caffeine.

Just a v high concentrate of vitamins

Plus it's an instant boost rather than waiting for bits to kick in usually

Smoothies in the morning are a great way to cleanse your body. Try and avoid processed food and eat lots of seasonal fruit and veg. I love hot water with lemon to detox me :-)

Marinate some tuna in teriyaki sauce (tinned tuna is fine)
Cook a handful of rice (preferably sticky)
Finely chop some carrot and red pepper-about half a handful of each.
Rinse rice with cold water and let it drain thoroughly. Mix all ingredients together with some sesame seeds.

Filling, healthy, tasty (though doesn't sound it) and quick to do.

Loads of raw veg, including stuff you'd normally cook, like baby broad beans or peas, in a massive salad tossed with nuts, seeds and olive oil and lemon.

Fresh squeezed pear and raw ginger juice or apple and carrot.

Drink at least 2 litres of water a day.

Lay off sugar, fatty foods and bread if you can bear it (easier said than done). Not eating bread really increases my energy.

I'm knackered and did the online shop today. Realised it was all veg and no meat at all. Just craving heaps of salads, even though it's the wrong time of year.

Hot water and lemon?

tinygreendragon · 12/02/2013 01:22

Fresh fruit/herbal tea? Alot nicer than dried herbal teabags. My fave are fresh lemon with grated ginger or fresh mint with a little honey.
