Can you freeze celery or do you have a recipe?

I stupidly forgot to check the content of the veg box and for the second time in a row, there's celery.
I love celery but am alone with this. Would prefer it doesn't go to waste.
Any tips? Or celery recipes please? Thanks

i've sliced it before and frozen it and then added to stews etc. that was fine.

Celery and stilton soup would freeze well. I don't have a recipe as I make it up, but I'm sure you could google. It's probably the easiest way to use up a lot of celery as most other dishes only use a small amount. I remember HFW has a celery gratin recipe in his veg book, here

Thank you both. DH loves stew and also partial to Stilton, will give them both a go in the hope of converting him!
