Do you have a quick children's meal that is your failsafe standby for when your child has a playdate, or for when you need to get something on the table quickly when they come home from school utterly ravenous?

We're looking for recipes for our Mumsnet Cookbook so tell us what it is and you may end up seeing your recipe in print...

Marmite and cheese slices-puff pastry rolled out to fit baking tray, tea spoonful of marmite mixed with a little hot water, spread marmite on the pastry and top with grated cheese, roll it all up and cook till golden. Serve in slices with whatever else you have beans/veg. You can also use ham and cheese with tomato base. Pepperoni and cheese and bake flat, serve in slices. Most things work and even the little ones can help with toppings.
