Making Christmas Day desserts in advance?

I usually spend Christmas Eve up to my eyes in the kitchen prepping Christmas Day dinner - who doesn't? Anyway, I read something a week or two ago where Mary Berry recommends doing a trifle the day before Christmas Eve and just adding the cream Christmas morning. Would it not be really soggy by Christmas Day or Boxing Day? Am also making a Bailey's Cheesecake and had planned to make that tomorrow too but maybe it's just too soon? What does anyone think?

I am making a Baileys cheesecake to take to my sister's house on Christmas day tea.

I think I'm going to make it Christmas eve. I use chocolate digestives and real butter, which gives a really crispy crunchy base, and it doesn't go soggy for a day or two, so you could get away with it.
