Title speaks for itself really. We have three new bottles from Lakeland and I want to decant our stash of sloe gin/vodka into them for presents, do I need to sterilise the bottles before use or just wash them out?

Thank you

I would put them through the dishwasher or wash in hot water and dry throughly.

Theoretically the alcohol should kill any bugs, but if it can go wrong it often will.

Maybe milton fluid?

I would sterilise the bottles in the dishwasher and dry in an oven on low heat.
