Is it possible? Sainsbury's definite tastes yuk. De Cecco was inedible. Any more I should try next.

Biona is good.

Wholemeal pasta is a crime against nature - it all tastes like wallpaper paste smells. What would be wrong with eating white pasta and wholemeal something else?

Oh, I'm with you on this one. DH is adamant that it's So Much Better. I think it's vile.

That said, now we are giving DS2 solids and I'm doing the cooking, I have told him it's too much fibre for DS2.

Will try Biona, trying to eat wholemeal everything but pasta is just yuk and I'm getting a bit sick of rice. Yes I know I can eat quinoa, millet (for the birds in my opinion) etc... Actually wholewheat couscous is okay, but it still tastes a bit like even bigger grained sand than normal couscous. Its the texture of wholewheat pasta it is slimey and horrid.

Napolinas not too bad, bit expensive (depending what budget your on) but is on offer quite regular

Lidls also do nice wholemeal pasta, think its called cambino?
Only problem is our local store hardly ever have it in.

Waitrose Essential is fine. Kids like the Ikea reindeer one - I'm not keen.

I really enjoy wholemeal pasta now (usually Tesco own, but most are fine) but the transition from white to wholemeal wasn't easy. They way we did it was to break it in gently - so 20% wholemeal with 80% white, then 50/50 the 80/20 until having all wholemeal felt ok. It gets you used to the taste and texture being a bit different.

There is a half wheat pasta you can buy sometimes, but I can't seem to find a link for it.

We made the transition to wholewheat about a year ago and now I don't really like normal pasta any more - find it a bit slimy and lacking flavour. DS got used to it more quickly than we did, didn't seem to notice the difference, particularly with a strong sauce such as bolognaise.

I'd just go for it for a month and see how you get on.
