A friend used to make these wonderful spiced nuts, and I know she used fajita spices. Tried Google but to no avail, help MN readers!!

Thank you!

Wild guess:
Dry fry nuts until they release oils, mix with ready made spice and a dollop of maple syrup and leave to air dry on a tray?

I do indian spiced nuts - mixed unsalted nuts on a tray, drizzle with a bit of oli, sprinkle on some cumin, salt and turmeric and mix and then cook in oven - tossing regularly - at 160 degrees C for 10-12 minutes.

I suspect a fajita spice recipe would follow a similar pattern.
