I need an amazing recipe for compote that doesn't have sugar in it!

The natural sugars present in the fruit are usually enough :)
Add water,fruit juice or even herbal tea, cinnamon/nutmeg/star anise/whatever you fancy.
Simmer until soft.
Blend or don't blend depending on taste.
