When a recipe says cream butter and sugar, which attachment should I be using? I always seem to make a mess of it and end up with melting mixture because I've been whizzing it too long.

I'm dreaming of a Kitchenaid, but think a lottery win would be a prerequisite.

I'd appreciate your wisdom. I'm a baking disaster zone and would like to be better at it now that DS has started school and I keep getting guilt-tripping PTA fundraiser letters home

I'd use the blade to cream with the magimix, but prefer my good old hand mixer really! I'm also lusting after a kitchen aid / ken wood but would need a huge lottery win as there's no way I'd fit that in the kitchen too!

Same as polter, all in one, use the blade, and blitz for at least one minute.

You can cream butter and sugar together with the blade as well, but I fine the results better with the all in one.

Right, so can I just adapt any (or most) recipes and just bung all the ingredients in together then? This sounds intriguingly simple!

I tnd to add a bit of extra baking powder, but that is all.
