How much lemon juice to make a lemon-flavoured sponge?

I'm making fairy cakes with dd. My recipe uses 175g each of flour, sugar and butter. It makes 24+ cakes.

I want to make them lemon-flavoured and I have a bottle of lemon juice (no actual lemons). How much do I add?

I don't think it is possible without actualy lemons. For that amount you would want the juice and zest of about two lemons.

You mean I have to put the zest in? Can I get away without that?

Or shall I just make chocolate cakes?
