I like to sneak veggies into my DD's dinners. Usually i puree and blend them in.

Today im doing a pizza. I want to stick some diced courgette on it(she will eat veggies that arent green.....can you see where im heading with this.........stay with me........)

Pizza dough and sauce & cheese already done so cant hide it.

Is there much nutrition in the green skin bit or wont it matter if i peel it off before dicing it?

Its not worth sticking on if i have peeled off all the good stuff first......

HELP - im an idiot today! Blush

Grate it and stick it under the cheese!!

Hmmm, courgettes are made up of a high %age of water and don't have hige nutritional value. There's vit C and fibre I think - but I would guess that most of the fibre is in the skin.

On the upside tho, we all need to eat lots of diff foods for a varied diet, so i would still do it.

Thanks. I might dice it with the skin on and painstakingly place it on top skin side down so she cant see the green adn the cheese will melt and hold it and she wont see.......

oh the things we do......

Its only green stuff she wont touch thankfully.... but grrr
